Great Work Starts with the People Behind It

The strongest workplaces are built on far more than numerical outputs and bottom-line results. They thrive when employees feel genuinely supported, their contributions are consistently valued, and their colleagues actively recognize the effort behind every project. At Adapting Social, that conviction is captured in a core guiding principle: inspired minds create inspired work.

Each year, the agency honors that foundational principle with its premier internal distinction: the Gladiator of the Year award. This recognition celebrates a team member who makes a meaningful, lasting difference for both client outcomes and peer collaboration. In 2026, Brandon Vagueiro, Web Coordinator, received this top honor during the annual Gladiator Gala.

His recognition highlights a crucial element of agency life that can easily be overlooked: the individuals who maintain project momentum, enable colleagues to succeed, and uphold high-quality standards behind the scenes. When an organization deliberately invests in its people, it strengthens the collaboration, creativity, and trust that drive sustainable, long-term success.

About the Gladiator of the Year Award

Gladiator of the Year is Adapting Social’s pinnacle annual employee recognition program. It honors an individual who consistently delivers high value for clients, lifts up peers across departments, and exemplifies the company’s core values day in and day out.

Rather than focusing strictly on sales figures or individual performance metrics, the award evaluates how an employee enriches the collective team environment. Key attributes evaluated include:

  • Knowledge Sharing: Proactively mentoring peers, transferring domain expertise, and building operational efficiency across workflows.
  • Grace Under Pressure: Stepping in willingly to share the load when project deadlines tighten.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Partnering with colleagues to navigate technical, creative, or logistical roadblocks.
  • Cultural Alignment: Embodying mutual respect, dependable support, and professional excellence.

The selection process is grounded in continuous peer evaluation, beginning with the monthly MVP program and culminating at the annual gala:

Brandon Vagueiro: 2026 Gladiator of the Year

As Web Coordinator, Brandon supports the web department and manages the intricate project pipelines that serve Adapting Social’s clientele. Producing effective digital web experiences requires much more than design alone; it depends on meticulous coordination, structured organization, smooth team workflows, and ensuring that every delivered website meets exacting client standards.

These essential responsibilities bridge creative conceptualization with operational discipline, creating a dependable and seamless client journey. Whether overseeing routine website updates, translating complex design implementations into functioning sites, or coordinating cross-departmental efforts, Brandon’s presence keeps critical work on track.

“Winning Gladiator means the world to me. Having been here for nearly 10 years and working primarily behind the scenes, receiving this recognition is a new experience, but I appreciate everyone who voted for me and am glad I can make an impact on my team. My plan is to maybe go to Brazil or somewhere in Asia.”

Brandon’s recognition highlights the immense organizational value of a dependable teammate, someone who understands his own core duties thoroughly while readily assisting others when client priorities change. In a fast-paced agency setting where multiple projects, shifting deadlines, and client expectations must be managed simultaneously, this level of flexibility and dedication is indispensable. The award ultimately honors contributions that extend well beyond a conventional job description: showing up consistently for the team, empowering others to succeed, and fostering a collaborative workplace where everyone can perform at their highest level.
