This year, Instagram’s algorithm, as well as user behavior on the platform, have shifted in favor of Instagram Reels. Busy businesses are struggling to find the time to create frequent video content.
Klein’s Fish Market is a Jersey Shore hotspot offering incredible food, drinks and views for both locals and tourists. Moving into their busy season (Summer), they often partner with Adapting Social to take over their social media presence so they can focus on their business.
Keeping in mind Instagram reach tends to be drawn to reels, we adapted our social media strategy to push out more engaging content to continue to expand our following. This included the use of photos and videos paired with trending audio clips our target audience would relate to.
In the first month of deploying this strategy, Klein’s saw a 138 follower increase on Instagram with Reels reaching upwards of 5,000+ views. In a three month timeframe, we saw a total of 359 new followers.
